Care and maintenance of jewellery

Like you, we want your Hultquist jewelry to stay beautiful. You will therefore get some good advice on how to take good care of them.

We have jewellery in pure sterling silver 925 and also sterling silver 925 plated with 18 carat gold. All jewelry will wear over time, which can be seen on the coating, which can be worn off. Therefore, we recommend that you remove the jewellery when you sleep, bathe, play sports, during cleaning, washing dishes and gardening. In addition, we recommend that the jewellery does not come in contact with cream, perfume, chemicals or hair spray, as it will wear on the coating. Furthermore, the durability of jewellery depends on each person's PH value, and it is therefore individual how an piece of jewellery ages.

We recommend that when the jewellery is not used, that it be stored in a tightly closed plastic bag in a dry place or a jewellery box.

Our jewellery is produced in pure sterling silver 925 and is plated with 18 carat gold.

Our gold jewellery is plated with 1 micron, which is the thickness of the coating, and all our jewellery is additionally plated with e-coating, so that the jewellery retains its beauty and shine.

All our jewellery is handmade, and is designed at our head office in Copenhagen.

All our jewellery is nickel-free, cf. Danish law. All our sterling silver jewellery is stamped with both the durability stamp and the name stamp. Hultquist Copenhagen is controlled by the precious metals control and is registered with the name stamp Q. The precious metal control is a company that, on behalf of the state, checks that the quality of the metals in the jewellery complies with Danish rules and laws.
